About Eleanor

After first joining Zulkie Partners as a paralegal in 2015, Eleanor returned in 2020 to oversee human resources as our HR Generalist. After 18 months of support from ZP and much studying, Eleanor successfully completed the SHRM-CP™ certification in Human Resources and was promoted to HR Business Partner.

In addition to managing key business functions like payroll, benefits, and employee relations, Eleanor is a trusted advisor to the firm’s leadership, who value both the expertise and the empathy she brings to her role here at ZP. Employees have Eleanor to thank for multiple firm-wide wellness initiatives, including weekly meditation sessions and annual in-person staff retreats.

Prior to joining Zulkie Partners in 2020, Eleanor launched her HR career at Avocado Green Brands. After first joining the company as a customer service representative in 2017, she pivoted into recruiting and HR generalist responsibilities, where she gained experience managing performance and administering payroll and benefits. This agile e-commerce startup environment gave Eleanor the ability to understand the changing goals of leadership and complete projects to effectively further business initiatives.

Outside of her professional accomplishments, Eleanor enjoys volunteering to support food security, ecological restoration and children’s education in her local community. She also loves cooking and trying food from all over the world.
