Pam Rangel has practiced immigration law for nine years — seven as a licensed attorney, two as a law clerk and paralegal. Her parents’ immigration from Guatemala colors how she sees every case: not as paperwork, but as someone’s chance at better opportunities. It’s an intimate understanding that shows in her work.
Pam primarily represents agricultural manufacturing companies while drawing on experience across insurance, fintech, and healthcare sectors. She excels at designing and managing large-scale immigration programs, particularly around H-1B petitions and PERM labor certifications. A decade in retail management before law school instilled a philosophy that shapes her practice today: exceptional service means anticipating needs before they’re articulated.
Pam’s strength lies in translating complexity into comprehension. She reaches out proactively to employees and HR teams, communicating in plain language that diffuses anxiety. Clients frequently praise her rapid response times and her ability to provide reassurance. While detail-focused and tactical by nature, her most valuable quality is steadiness — she brings calm presence precisely when situations become challenging.
Outside of work, Pam volunteers for PAWS Chicago, a leading animal welfare organization dedicated to rehabilitating and ending the killing of homeless pets in Chicago, and is a former member of their Young Professionals Board. She speaks fluent Spanish and paints with acrylics in her free time — an art kid who never outgrew the medium.
